Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX 30) closed on Wednesday at 5,720.04 points, marking an increase of 28.9 points, or 0.51%, from the previous trading session's 5,691.17 points.

According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value for the session reached 42.8 million Omani rials, which represented a decrease of 25.8% compared to the last session's 57.6 million rials. The report highlighted a rise in market capitalization by 0.072% from the previous trading day, bringing it to approximately 31.78 billion Omani rials.

The report further noted that the value of non-Omani purchases on the exchange stood at 3.57 million rials, accounting for 8.34% of the total trading value. Meanwhile, non-Omani sales amounted to 3.34 million rials, or 7.80%, resulting in a net foreign investment increase of 231,000 rials, equivalent to 0.54%.
