Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed today, Sunday, at 5915.73 points, marking an increase of 54.9 points or 0.94 percent from the previous trading session's close of 5860.80 points.
According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value reached 40,769,158 Omani rials, which is a decrease of 12.2 percent compared to the previous session's value of 46,414,168 Omani rials. The daily report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange highlighted a rise in market capitalization by 0.441 percent from the previous trading day, reaching approximately 32.13 billion Omani rials.
Non-Omani investors purchased stocks worth 3 million and 816 thousand Omani riyals, accounting for 9.36 percent of the trading value. Conversely, non-Omani sales amounted to 4 million and 625 thousand Omani riyals, representing 11.35 percent. This resulted in a net decrease in non-Omani investment by 810 thousand Omani riyals, which constitutes a 1.99 percent decline.
