Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed Sunday at 5940.46 points, marking a decline of 15.87 points, or 0.26 percent, from the previous trading session’s close of 5956.33 points. Trading value reached 37,840,464 Omani rials, a reduction of 6 percent compared to the previous session’s value of 40,264,404 Omani rials.
According to Yemen News Agency, the daily report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated that the market capitalization decreased by 0.131 percent from the previous trading day, reaching approximately 32.17 billion Omani rials. Non-Omanis’ purchases on the stock exchange totaled 2.966 million Omani riyals, accounting for 7.84 percent, while their sales amounted to 2.509 million Omani riyals, representing 1.35 percent.
