Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed Wednesday at 7765.46 points, up 100.8 points, or 1.32 percent, compared to the previous trading session's close of 7664.63 points. Trading value reached 70,073,409 Omani rials, a 93.6 percent increase compared to the previous session's value of 36,187,324 Omani rials, according to the Oman News Agency (ONA).
According to Yemen News Agency, the report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated that the market capitalization rose by 0.518 percent compared to the previous trading day, reaching approximately 37.21 billion Omani rials. Non-Omani purchases on the stock exchange amounted to 19 million and 911 thousand Omani riyals, constituting 28.41 percent, while non-Omani sales amounted to 3 million and 354 thousand Omani riyals, constituting 4.79 percent. The net non-Omani investment increased by 16 million and 557 thousand Omani riyals, constituting 23.63 percent.
