Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange 30 Index closed on Monday at 5,098.81 points, marking a decline of 11.5 points or 0.22 percent compared to the previous session's close of 5,110.26 points. Trading activity saw a noticeable uptick. According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value reached OMR 31,360,632, reflecting a 41.2 percent increase compared to the last session's trading value of OMR 22,216,913. The daily report from the Muscat Stock Exchange highlighted a decrease in market capitalization by 0.132 percent, bringing it to approximately OMR 30.08 billion. The report also outlined the dynamics of non-Omani investments on the stock exchange. The value of non-Omani purchases stood at 3 million and 457 thousand Omani riyals, accounting for 11.02 percent, while non-Omani sales accounted for 3 million and 59 thousand Omani riyals, or 9.75 percent. Consequently, net non-Omani investment saw an increase of 398 thousand Omani riyals, representing 1.27 percent.
