Sa'ada: The National Women's Committee has issued a strong condemnation of what it describes as a horrific crime committed by the US against a migrant shelter located in the Sa'ada Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the committee's statement declared that these actions are considered full-fledged war crimes, further tarnishing America's record and representing a clear violation of international and humanitarian laws as well as Yemen's national sovereignty. The committee has placed full responsibility for this crime on the US administration.
The statement emphasized that the targeting of innocent civilians and migrants constitutes a grave addition to the history of US actions against the Yemeni people and humanity in general. The committee urged the international community to adopt a humanitarian, human rights, and legal stance that upholds the founding values and principles of the United Nations General Assembly, criticizing the international silence on these matters as unacceptable complicity.
Furthermore, the committee called upon free peoples and civil society organizations to engage in serious and responsible actions to halt these crimes and to express support for both the Palestinian and Yemeni peoples.
