North Sanaa Appeals Prosecution Releases 569 Prisoners for Ramadan

Sanaa: The North Sanaa Appeals Prosecution has released 569 prisoners in celebration of the blessed month of Ramadan.

According to Yemen News Agency, Judge Ahmed Abu Mansir, the head of the prosecution, announced that 252 of these prisoners have been released after serving three-quarters of their sentences. Additionally, 317 prisoners have been granted bail in cases that are currently under investigation and are deemed not to pose a danger to society.

Judge Abu Mansir highlighted that these release procedures are part of an ongoing effort initiated during a field visit at the beginning of Shaaban. The visit aimed to inspect pretrial prisons, police detention centers, and reservations of primary prosecutions.
