Sana'a: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Cooperation, Ambassador Ismail Al-Mutawakel, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Population, Dr. Najib Al-Qabati, and the United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen, Julien Harneis, visited several individuals wounded in recent US airstrikes targeting civilian areas in the capital, Sana'a. These individuals are currently receiving treatment at the Republican Hospital in Sana'a.
According to Yemen News Agency, the delegation was briefed on the health conditions of the wounded individuals and engaged with the medical staff to understand the nature of their injuries. The visit also highlighted the challenges facing medical teams in providing necessary care, with discussions focusing on the impact of the blockade and the shortage of resources affecting treatment efforts.
