Sanaa: The Minister of Finance Abduljabbar Ahmed, the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Nabeh Nasser, and the Secretary General of the Local Council in the Capital Secretariat Amin Jumaan today inspected the progress of work in the first phase of the Equestrian Center project at Al Thawra Sports City in Sanaa. They listened to an explanation from specialists about the level of completion of the ongoing work and the specifications of the center which is being equipped according to modern technical standards and specifications to serve this ancient sport.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, the Minister of Finance emphasized the importance of completing the project, which is considered one of the important sports projects in Al Thawra Sports City. He noted that this facility contributes to developing the capabilities of riders and elevating Yemeni equestrian sports, as well as refining the skills and creativity of young people in this sporting activity.
The Deputy Minister of Youth regarded the establishment of the center as a significant advancement for the sport of fathers and grandfathers, highlighting the state's commitment to supporting and nurturing various youth and sports activities despite current challenges. He expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Finance's support in financing and completing such projects.
Additionally, the officials inspected the Grand Hall at the Ministry of Youth and Sports and assessed the level of completed equipment.
