Officials Review Medical Upgrades at Al-Ameen Hospital in Ibb

Iraq: Ibb Deputy Governors Mohammed Al-Shabibi and Abdulrahman Al-Zukri toured Al-Ameen Model Hospital in Ibb City on Thursday to inspect newly completed expansion works and modern medical equipment installed at a cost of YR40 million.

According to Yemen News Agency, the officials were accompanied by Dr. Mohammed Al-Mutawakel, Director of Private Health Facilities at the Governorate Health Office. They were briefed by Hospital Director Dr. Khaled Al-Shaabani on the hospital's medical services, including emergency, operating, intensive care, laboratory, inpatient, and reception departments. The tour highlighted the advanced equipment supporting improved healthcare quality.

The deputy governors emphasized the local authority's commitment to strengthening the health sector and described the hospital's upgrades as a valuable addition that enhances healthcare services in the governorate. They praised the hospital's management and staff for their efforts and stressed the importance of continued service improvement, expanding specialized medical care, and adopting modern technologies to better meet growing healthcare needs, particularly under the country's current exceptional circumstances.

Dr. Al-Mutawakel reaffirmed the Health Office's support for private healthcare facilities that comply with professional standards. He highlighted the importance of cooperation between the public and private sectors in delivering quality medical services.
