Al bayda: The branches of the Yemen Petroleum Company, Yemen Gas Company, and the General Authority for Antiquities in Al Bayda Governorate organized a cultural evening to commemorate the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth. The event was attended by Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Saiqal and Director of Rada'a District Ahmed Al-Akkam.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Director of the Yemen Petroleum Company Abdulhameed Al-Hassani emphasized that the Yemeni people's celebration of the Prophet's birthday reflects their deep connection to the Prophet, who honored Yemenis with the description of being supporters of Allah and His Messenger. He highlighted that from the early days of Islam to the present, Yemenis have embodied the role of loyal supporters in defending the faith, adhering to the values and principles brought by the Prophet in confronting tyranny and aggression.
Al-Hassani further stated that the Prophet's birthday celebrations send a clear message to the enemies of the nation that Yemenis remain committed to the Prophet's path, following his guidance and drawing lessons from his teachings in fields of steadfastness, dignity, and honor.
Rada'a mobilization official Majed Al-Sharif remarked that the commemoration of the Prophet's birthday serves as a message of resilience and a stand against contemporary ignorance. He affirmed that the gatherings marking the occasion represent a declaration of adherence to the faith-based identity, a renewed birth for the nation, and a message of steadfastness challenging years of war and siege.
Al-Sharif emphasized that the birth of the Prophet signifies the birth of the nation and dignity, underscoring the importance of making the occasion an opportunity to draw inspiration from the values of light and honor that guided humanity from the darkness of early ignorance, idol worship, and the practice of burying infant girls alive toward virtue and order.
