Oil Minister Reviews Work Progress at Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Authority

Sana’a: Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Abdullah al-Amir inspected the General Authority for Geological Survey and Mineral Resources to review workflow and employee discipline during the holy month of Ramadan. During his visit, Dr. al-Amir received a detailed briefing from the Authority’s leadership on geological and mining activities, implementation of plans and programs, adherence to official working hours during Ramadan, and the main challenges and needs aimed at enhancing institutional performance.



According to Yemen News Agency, the Minister stressed the importance of redoubling efforts during the holy month and reinforcing principles of self-monitoring and job discipline, noting that such commitment positively reflects on work quality and supports the development of the mining sector and investment in natural resources in service of the national economy. He added that Ramadan represents a spiritual opportunity to strengthen values of sincerity, discipline, responsibility, and awareness of the significance of fulfilling national duties.



Dr. al-Amir reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the Authority, addressing challenges, and enabling it to carry out geological surveying and exploration tasks efficiently, praising the level of discipline and dedication observed during the visit.
