Sana'a: The Tender Committee of the Ministry of Oil and Minerals discussed, at a meeting chaired by Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, the procedures for launching the tender for the construction of the Seismic Monitoring Center building.
According to Yemen News Agency, the committee reviewed the project's technical and administrative aspects, as well as the tender documents, to ensure implementation in line with approved technical standards and to enhance the efficiency of the country's seismic monitoring system in support of exploration and geological studies.
The minister stressed the importance of transparency and integrity in tender procedures and called for completing all legal and technical requirements to ensure the project is carried out to the highest quality standards.
He described the Seismic Monitoring Center building as an important step toward strengthening the institutional infrastructure of the sector, enhancing its technical capabilities, protecting natural resources, and supporting development plans.
