Oil Prices Rise Amid Supply Concerns

New york: Oil prices rose on Wednesday during Asian trading after falling by about two percent in the previous session due to supply concerns. Brent crude futures rose 15 cents, or 0.22 percent, to $67.57 a barrel by 0737 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude rose 12 cents, or 0.19 percent, to $62.45. Both benchmarks are trading near their lowest levels in two weeks.

According to Yemen News Agency, the recent fluctuations in oil prices are attributed to ongoing supply issues affecting the global market. Despite the slight increase in prices, the benchmarks remain close to their two-week lows, reflecting the volatility and uncertainty in the market. The recent decline and subsequent rise highlight the sensitivity of oil prices to supply changes and other external factors impacting the energy sector.
