Sana'a: The ongoing US-Saudi-Emirati aggression has left a trail of destruction and casualties across several governorates, with significant attacks recorded on February 19 over the years.
According to Yemen News Agency, on February 19, 2016, the aggression's aircraft conducted multiple raids in Taiz governorate, targeting areas such as Azzan in Dhubab and Al-Wazi'iyah district. In addition, homes in the Bran area of Nihm district in Sana'a governorate and Al-Nakheel village in Al-Durayhimi district in Al-Hodieda governorate were hit by air and naval attacks.
In 2017, violence continued as a woman was killed by sniper fire in Al-Ma'afer district, Taiz governorate. The day also saw air raids damaging properties in Ma'een district in the Capital Secretariat, and various sites in Taiz, Saada, and Najran were targeted.
The following year in 2018, two citizens were injured in Saada governorate due to air raids, and missile shelling from the Saudi army led to further destruction in Munabbih district. Aggression aircraft launched numerous raids in Hajjah and Sana'a governorates, causing significant damage to homes and farms.
On February 19, 2019, missile and artillery shelling by the Saudi army damaged properties in Saada governorate, while air raids targeted citizens' properties and populated areas in Al-Hodieda, Hajjah, and Amran governorates.
In 2020, Hodeida governorate witnessed intensive shelling and combat fortification activities by mercenaries, resulting in the burning of homes and infrastructure damage. Air raids were also reported in Marib governorate.
In 2021, a citizen was injured by Saudi border guards in Saada governorate. The aggression's aircraft launched multiple raids in Marib and Al-Hodieda governorates, with mercenaries continuing to create combat fortifications in Hodeidah city.
February 19, 2022, saw the death and injury of eight people, including migrants, in Saada governorate due to Saudi army fire. Air raids were conducted across several governorates, including Sana'a, Al-Jawf, and Marib, while fortification activities and shelling persisted in Al-Hodieda governorate.
On February 19, 2023, remnants of aggression caused the deaths and injuries of citizens in Al-Hudaydah and Marib governorates. Mercenaries continued attacks in Hays district and Al-Jabaliya area in Al-Tuhita district, leading to further damage.
Most recently, on February 19, 2024, four citizens were seriously injured by remnants of aggression in Al-Rabee'ah area in Marib governorate, marking another year of violence and devastation.
