Muscat: The Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Khalili, expressed his gratitude on Monday to the Yemeni Armed Forces for their religious zeal and heroic stance regarding the US aggression against Iran. Al-Khalili emphasized the importance of unity among the peoples of the region in the face of such challenges.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Khalili stated in a post on the X platform that the US aggression against Iran had no significant impact, attributing this resilience to divine support. He extended congratulations to the Iranian leadership and people while specifically acknowledging the Yemeni forces for their notable position.
The Grand Mufti highlighted this stance as a sign of unity among the free people of the nation. He expressed hope for a future where the occupation of Islamic sanctities would come to an end. The context for these remarks comes after a US attack on Iran's nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, which occurred early Sunday morning as part of the ongoing conflict involving Zionist forces since June 13.
