Opening of Bids for Al-Qalit Barrier Project in Hamdan District

Sana'a: The bid envelopes for the Al-Qalit Barrier project in Bayt Na'am, Hamdan District, were opened on Wednesday in Sana'a Governorate. The project is part of the community initiative projects and is expected to cost 307 million and 542 thousand riyals, with the benefiting community contributing 107 million and 882 thousand riyals.

According to Yemen News Agency, during a meeting chaired by the Head of the Social Affairs Committee in the Local Council of the Governorate, Ali Al-Suhaili, the Bid Opening Committee referred the envelopes to the Technical Analysis Committee for reviewing and evaluating the submitted offers. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Governor for Technical Affairs, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntasir.

Al-Suhaili explained that the project aligns with the local authority's plan to support community initiatives, which aim to enhance development across various sectors and alleviate citizens' difficulties. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the terms and specifications outlined in the bidding documents and completing all necessary procedures for the commencement of the project.

The bid opening event saw the presence of the Director of Community Initiatives, Engineer Mohammed Al-Nazzari; the Technical Secretariat representative, Mohammed Sharqan; the Accounting Unit representative, Ali Al-Qudsi; and the Secretary of the Tenders Committee, Ali Othman.
