Opening of Ramadan Consumer Food Exhibition in Hodeidah

Hodeidah: Officials in Hodeidah, including First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri, Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry for Internal Trade Mohammed Qutran, and Deputy Governor for Services Affairs Mohammed Haleisi, inaugurated the Ramadan Consumer Food Exhibition. The exhibition is being held at the Grand Exhibition Hall of the Yemeni Economic Corporation and will continue until the end of Sha’ban, showcasing products from 35 local companies at competitive prices in preparation for Ramadan.

According to Yemen News Agency, the exhibition’s primary aim is to promote local products while offering discounts on food and household essentials. The initiative is intended to support consumers and bolster food security by providing a cost-effective shopping experience. Officials have commended the Ministry of Economy and Industry’s role in organizing the event, emphasizing its importance in reducing the financial burden on families during the holy month.

Exhibition Director Hassan Abdullah highlighted the event’s focus on strengthening the partnership between businesses and consumers by presenting competitive deals. The exhibition serves as a one-stop shopping experience, making it easier for families to procure necessary items at affordable prices during Ramadan.
