Sana'a: The Ministry of Defense today launched activities commemorating the Annual Martyr Anniversary for the year 1447 AH by opening several photo exhibitions honoring its fallen members. Major General Abdulqader Al-Zindani, Assistant Commander of the Military Police Units, inaugurated the photo exhibition of the martyrs of the Military Police forces.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the opening, which was attended by leaders of the Military Police units, Al-Zindani noted that the martyrs sacrificed their lives in defense of the nation, its security, and its stability. He stated that Yemen, thanks to their sacrifices, now stands in a strong position and possesses advanced deterrent capabilities.
He affirmed that the Annual Martyr Anniversary is an occasion to recall the sacrifices of those who gave their lives for the sake of God and in defense of the land, honor, and national sovereignty. In addition, Brigadier General Naji Rubaid, Deputy Commander of the Third Military Region, inaugurated the photo exhibition honoring the martyrs of the Third Military Region.
Likewise, Major General Abdulmalik Al-Durrah, Deputy Chief of the Logistics Support Authority, opened the exhibition of martyrs from the departments and units of the Logistics and Support Authority.
