Opening of Three Development Projects in Al-Maghlaf Directorate, Al Hodeidah

Al hodeidah: The Deputy Governor of Al Hodeidah, Ghalib Hamza, along with Jaber Al-Razhi, Director of the Yemen Red Crescent Society branch, inaugurated three development and service projects in the Al-Maghlaf Directorate. These initiatives are part of a broader effort to improve livelihoods and bolster community resilience.

According to Yemen News Agency, the projects were executed by the Social Solidarity Development Foundation, with financial backing from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and oversight by the Roya Amal International Organization. The projects include a water project in Al-Haddadiyah Village, Bani Mohammed Subdistrict, costing $125,594; rehabilitation of the Al-Kureid-Al-Habeel-Al-Ghazeerah road in Bani Al-Barrah Subdistrict at $30,860; and rehabilitation of the Al-Maqazlah Road in Al-Mahamada Subdistrict at $32,672.

During the inauguration, Deputy Governor Hamza highlighted the significance of these projects in addressing the fundamental needs of citizens, especially in the water and roads sectors. He noted their crucial role in improving living standards and fostering community stability. He also emphasized that such development projects demonstrate a commitment to enhancing community resilience in rural areas, underlining the need for ongoing interventions to improve services and reduce citizens' hardships.
