Sana'a: The Reserve Correctional Facility in Sana'a province organized an oratorical event today to commemorate the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah (Day of Guardianship) of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, the director of the correctional facility, Major Mazen Hadi Issa, highlighted the significance of commemorating Yawm al-Wilayah to affirm sincere allegiance to God, His Messenger (peace be upon him and his family), and Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
He stressed the importance of reinforcing the principle of guardianship (wilayah) and the need for practical allegiance at the levels of faith, commitment, and jihad for the sake of God and confronting His enemies. He described these as crucial factors for achieving victory and triumph.
The event was attended by the deputy director of the correctional facility, several officers, personnel, and inmates. It featured poems and an operetta to mark the occasion.
