Sana'a: The House of Representatives has issued a strong condemnation of the recent assassination of the Prime Minister of Change and Construction, Mujahid Ahmed Ghalib Al-Rahwi, along with several of his ministerial colleagues, in an attack attributed to the Zionist entity. The incident has been described as a heinous crime against humanity and civilian life.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Council emphasized that the martyrdom of these leaders while performing their national duties serves as a symbol of sacrifice. They reiterated that this act would only bolster Yemen's resolve and determination to continue supporting the Palestinian cause until full victory is achieved.
The Council declared that targeting civilian figures, such as the Prime Minister and his colleagues, will not deter Yemen from supporting Gaza. Instead, it will motivate the country to confront perceived Zionist arrogance, with the blood of the martyrs serving as a guiding light on the path of jihad and resistance.
In their statement, the Council urged the Yemeni government and Armed Forces to take decisive actions to respond to these crimes and deter further aggression. They called on international bodies, including the United Nations and the Security Council, to condemn the attack and hold the perpetrators accountable.
The House of Representatives also expressed frustration with the ongoing silence from Arab and Islamic nations regarding the situation in Gaza. They urged for immediate action to address the humanitarian crisis and called for accountability for the Zionist leaders responsible for crimes against the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples.
The Council extended condolences to the families of the martyrs and the Yemeni people, expressing the hope that the deceased will be granted eternal peace alongside the prophets and righteous in paradise.
