Parliament Speaker Celebrates Anniversary of September 26 Revolution with Congratulatory Message

Sana'a: Yahya Al-Ra'i, Speaker of Parliament, sent a congratulatory cable to Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, on the 63rd anniversary of the September 26 Revolution.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Ra'i, on behalf of the Parliament's Presidency, members, and the General Secretariat, extended warm congratulations to the leaders and all free people of Yemen on this significant national occasion. The Speaker highlighted the revolution's role in manifesting the popular will for change and liberation from foreign influence.

Al-Ra'i praised the revolutionary and political leadership for confronting external hegemony and commended recent military operations in support of Gaza, specifically mentioning a qualitative operation against Israeli targets in southern occupied Palestine. This, he noted, signified a victory for the Palestinian people and a response to Israeli actions in Gaza.

The Speaker acknowledged the efforts of Yemeni armed forces and mujahideen in defending the nation. He emphasized the need to draw inspiration from the revolution's goals to protect national sovereignty and resist foreign dependency. Al-Ra'i called for national unity against external threats and emphasized preserving peace and unity.

In his message, Al-Ra'i applauded the wisdom of the revolutionary leadership in prioritizing national interests and maintaining Yemen's security. He saluted military and security achievements as crucial for preserving national stability and sovereignty. He concluded with prayers for the martyrs and hopes for continued national victories and progress.
