Sana’a: Speaker of the Parliament Yahya al-Ra’i on Thursday sent a congratulatory telegram to his counterpart, the Speaker of the House of Representatives in the Dominican Republic, Alfredo Pacheco. In the cable, al-Ra’i congratulated Pacheco on the occasion of the Dominican Republic’s Independence Day.
According to Yemen News Agency, the message was sent to express goodwill and reinforce diplomatic relations between the two countries. The gesture highlights the importance of international solidarity and mutual respect among legislative bodies worldwide.
