Sana'a: The Parliament Speaker, Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, sent a cable of congratulations to the Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, H.E. Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, and members of the Council on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. In his message, the Speaker conveyed his highest congratulations and best wishes on behalf of himself, the Presidency, and members of the Parliament and its General Secretariat to the revolutionary and political leadership.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Ra'i extended his congratulations to the protectors of the homeland, the heroes of the armed and security forces, and all the Yemeni people. He expressed pride in the courageous positions taken by the Revolution Leader in defending the homeland and supporting Palestinian causes amidst ongoing aggression and blockade, particularly in light of recent US raids on Sana'a and violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
The Speaker highlighted that the Revolution Leader's positions resonate with the aspirations of the Yemenis and their allies in the Arab and Islamic nation. He noted Yemen's ability to achieve a deterrence equation and support the Palestinians under challenging circumstances, crediting the wisdom of its leadership.
Furthermore, Al-Ra'i praised the massive turnout for the International Quds Day marches in Sana'a and other provinces, where attendees denounced aggressions and violations against Yemen, Palestine, and Lebanon. He called for unity among the Arab and Islamic nations to confront conspiracies and thwart expansionist plans in the region, echoing warnings issued by the Revolution Leader.
