Sana’a: The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, on behalf of himself, the Presidency, the members of the House, and its General Secretariat, expressed the highest congratulations and best wishes to the Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
According to Yemen News Agency, on this religious occasion, Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i extended his congratulations to H.E. Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, members of the Political Council, all Yemeni citizens, and the armed and security forces throughout Yemen. He noted that the occasion coincides with efforts to stop the aggression and lift the siege on Gaza, highlighting the perseverance and sacrifices made over 15 months in the pursuit of peace and sovereignty.
Al-Ra’i emphasized the aspiration for a peace that respects Yemen’s unity and sovereignty while urging the nation to embrace solidarity during Ramadan. He called for strengthening the steadfastness of the Yemeni people and supporting the national and Islamic principles advocated by Revolution Leader Sayyid Abdul Malik Badreddin Al-Houthi and the political leadership.
During a session chaired by Al-Ra’i, with government representation by Dr. Ismail Al-Mahakri, head of the State Legal Office, the House deliberated on a draft law for the year 1446 AH. This law is intended to replace Law No. (3) of 2004 concerning the Council of Ministers.
The House’s discussion of the draft law was informed by a report from the Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee, which reviewed the draft comprising 60 articles across five chapters. Following a detailed debate, the House of Representatives approved the bill in its final form through an article-by-article vote.
