Sana'a: Speaker of Parliament Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i affirmed on Monday that Yemen's current level of readiness and deterrence is the culmination of years of steadfastness, sacrifices, and unity among its people against aggression and arrogance. Al-Ra'i delivered these remarks at the closing ceremony of the second "Al-Aqsa Flood" mobilization training course for the cadres and employees of the General Secretariat of the Parliament.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Ra'i emphasized the importance of training and qualification as essential for strengthening discipline and fulfilling national and religious responsibilities. He noted that these efforts align with the directives of Yemen's revolutionary and political leadership, supporting national, Arab, and religious causes, particularly the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples' resistance. Al-Ra'i highlighted the significance of confronting the American and Zionist enemy's schemes that aim to deter Yemen from its steadfast positions.
Al-Ra'i stressed that the battle of awareness is as crucial as other confrontations. He urged the Council's cadres and employees to embody steadfastness, resilience, and responsibility, reinforcing the faith-based identity and addressing current challenges. He congratulated the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, on the mass turnout at Al-Sabeen Square in Sana'a and other governorates, in response to the call to confront conspiracies against the homeland.
Al-Ra'i underscored the training course's significance for its awareness-raising and mobilization content, enhancing awareness and readiness among the House of Representatives' cadres. He urged trainees to apply their theoretical knowledge practically, following the example of the Prophet Muhammad and his companions.
Secretary-General of the House of Representatives Abdullah Al-Qasimi reiterated the importance of mobilization courses in building cultural awareness and responsibility. He called for unified efforts and vigilance to confront projects targeting Yemen and the region. Al-Qasimi emphasized Yemen's support for Palestine as rooted in faith-based identity and religious values, advocating for continued awareness programs to protect society from misinformation.
Chairman of the Council's Department of Public Relations, Media, and Publications Sadiq Al-Hamdani commended the course's instruction quality, describing it as an inspiring learning journey. The course covered awareness and mobilization topics, including Qur'anic culture and combat skills, as part of ongoing programs to enhance preparedness against aggression and support regional causes.
