Sana'a: Residents of the southern Al-Fath neighborhood in Al-Safiya District, Sana'a, held an evening celebration to commemorate the Prophet's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, during the evening, the Undersecretary of the Secretariat for Agricultural Affairs, Mohammed Saree, emphasized the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday, recalling the lessons and values from his life, strengthening the connection with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and emulating his morals, principles, and righteous path.
He touched upon the deep-rooted relationship that binds the Yemeni people to the Prophet Muhammad since the dawn of Islam, considering the celebration of his birthday an opportunity to reinforce loyalty, love, and reverence for the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, and to embody the faith-based identity.
Saree praised the efforts, interest, and widespread engagement of citizens with this great occasion, calling on everyone to participate actively in the activities and events, to mobilize, and to turn out in a dignified manner for the central celebration commemorating the birth of the Prophet of Mercy and Humanity, in a manner befitting the greatness and significance of the occasion in the hearts of Yemenis.
The evening, attended by social and educational leaders and figures, included songs, poems, and expressive cultural segments.
