People of Taiz Gather in 91 Squares Commemorating International Quds Day, in Victory for Palestine

Taiz: Taiz Governorate witnessed today massive popular gatherings in 91 squares across various districts of the governorate, commemorating International Quds Day 1447 AH, under the slogan "Quds is the Covenant of God," expressing the steadfast and principled stance of the governorate's people towards the nation's causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

According to Yemen News Agency, the participants in the marches, led in the central square of the Great Messenger in the governorate center by the Acting Governor, Ahmed Al-Masawi, a number of Shura Council members, the Mobilization Official, and the Governorate Security Director, affirmed that commemorating International Quds Day embodies the Yemeni people's commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and confronting the Zionist-American project.

The people of the governorate gathered in massive marches: six squares in Taizziyah District, 20 squares in Maqbanah, six squares in Khadir, eight squares in Shar'ab As-Salam, 18 squares in Shar'ab Ar-Rawnah, 14 squares in Mawiyah District, seven squares in Hayfan, three squares in As-Salu, two squares in Sabir Al-Mawadim, one square in Al-Misrakh, one square in Al-Mawasit, two squares in Jabal Habashi, and one square in each of the districts of Salah and Sami'.

The crowds in the squares raised the Yemeni, Palestinian, and Iranian flags, chanting slogans denouncing the ongoing crimes of the Zionist and American enemy, affirming that Jerusalem will remain the central cause of the Arab and Islamic nation and the focus of its struggle.

The statement renewed the affirmation of Yemen's full support for the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership, people, and army, praising its steadfastness and resilience in facing challenges, and the supportive positions for the resistance forces in Lebanon and Iraq.
