Sana'a: Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi visited the Ministry of Oil and Minerals, meeting with Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, Deputy Mohammed Al-Najjar, and several heads of its units to review the level of discipline and the progress of implementation of activities and projects in the sector. The meeting focused on the Ministry's efforts to stabilize the supply situation of oil derivatives and domestic gas in the capital and provinces.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized the Ministry's significant responsibility toward citizens by continuously enhancing the supply situation of oil derivatives and gas in local markets. He praised the Ministry's plans and the competent authorities for achieving remarkable stability in the supply of these materials over the past period. He stressed the importance of ensuring the safety of imported shipments early on and their compliance with approved specifications and standards.
The Oil and Minerals Minister reviewed the Ministry's conditions, its affiliated entities, and the collaborative efforts with other relevant authorities to enhance the supply situation for oil derivatives and domestic gas. He explained that ongoing development projects are proceeding according to the approved executive plan and highlighted upcoming projects to be launched in coordination with the Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Investment in the mineral field. These projects fall within the framework of the economic stimulus program stemming from the government's general program.
