Marib: Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi engaged in discussions with the Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water, Dr. Ali Saif, and Deputy Minister Adel Bader regarding strategies to meet the electricity demands of the southern district in Marib Province.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting followed an expansive assembly with the elders of Marib’s southern district. The Prime Minister urged the Ministry’s leadership and energy sector officials to revise the Ministry’s plans to better align with the needs of Marib’s southern residents. He emphasized the importance of updating strategies for the free districts in Marib Province to ensure adequate electricity supply.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister instructed a collaborative meeting to be convened next week. This meeting will involve the Ministry’s leadership, electricity and energy sector officials, Marib’s governor, and directors from the targeted districts. The goal is to collaboratively develop a mechanism to supply electricity to these distri
cts and explore available alternatives to meet their energy needs.
