Washington: province witnessed today, following Friday prayers, popular protests affirming the unity of arenas and high readiness to support Gaza and continued backing for the Palestinian cause. Participants in the protests at the provincial centre and the districts stressed the continuation of general mobilisation activities, strengthening the support stance for the cause and Islamic sanctities, and thwarting the enemies' schemes.
According to Yemen News Agency, the protesters also expressed solidarity with the Sultanate of Oman regarding the threats it is facing. They affirmed their support for positions rejecting escalation and pressures targeting the region's countries and the right of peoples to defend their sovereignty, security, and stability.
The statement from the protestors expressed condolences to the Palestinian people and the resistance on the martyrdom of leader Mohammed Ouda, affirming that assassination crimes will not break the will of free peoples or deter them from continuing the path of resistance.
The participants called for mobilisation and wide participation in the mass events scheduled for next Thursday on the occasion of Guardianship Day.
