Al-Masawa: Acting Governor of Taiz Ahmed al-Masawa on Thursday confirmed that there are positive responses from the other party towards the initiative to open the road of the palace tour – al-Kamb-Hawdh al-Sharaf that the leader of the revolution directed to open from one side to facilitate the movement of citizens during the month of Ramadan.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Masawa expressed hope during his inspection of the progress of work in a number of road projects, that this humanitarian initiative will come to fruition by the beginning of the month of Ramadan, contingent upon the response from the other party.
For his part, member of the Shura Council Dr. Yahya al-Junaid indicated that the opening of the road of the palace tour – al-Kamb – the basin around the clock will facilitate the movement of citizens and alleviate their suffering. He expressed hope that the other party will respond positively to this initiative, highlighting that the Supreme Political Council is acting with sincere intentions to resolve the issues faced by citizens.
Meanwhile, director of the Works Office in Taiz, Eng. Bakil Hamid, affirmed the continuous accessibility for citizens’ vehicles, as per the directives of the leader of the revolution.
The Acting Governor of Taiz, along with a member of the Shura Council, the director of the Works Office, and the Director of the Executive Unit Hossam al-Fateh, inspected the progress of asphalt work on the second phase of September 21st Street, a project costing 262 million riyals funded by the local authority. They also reviewed the work progress in a slit and wiping several roads in the al-Qafar area, extending to the city of al-Shaab in al-Janad.
