Postal Authority Branch in Capital Sanaa Organizes Event for Prophet’s Birthday

Sana'a: The General Authority for Post and Postal Savings branch in the Capital Secretariat organized a cultural event today commemorating the Prophet's Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi), emphasizing the occasion's spiritual significance and the Yemeni people's unique devotion to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

According to Yemen News Agency, Hammoud Al-Naqeeb, Head of the Social Affairs Committee in the Capital Secretariat, highlighted the Mawlid as a cherished occasion for all Yemenis, noting that the Yemeni people stand out among Arab and Islamic nations in their vibrant celebrations. He emphasized that these events revive virtue, noble morals, and the teachings of the Quran revealed to the Prophet (PBUH).

Speakers underscored the historical role of Yemenis as early supporters of Islam, tracing their allegiance to the Prophet's message since the dawn of Islam.

The event featured an oratorio (religious chant) and a poetic recitation expressing love for the Prophet and the significance of his birth, aligning with traditional Yemeni expressions of faith.
