Sana’a: The Presidency of the First Scientific Conference of Yemeni Universities convened a meeting today with committee officials to discuss ongoing preparations and arrangements for the upcoming conference, which is scheduled for 19-20 Sha’ban. This event is part of efforts to support the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was chaired by Dr. Abdullah Al-Shami, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee. Detailed reports were presented by committee officials outlining the current state of preparations, challenges faced, and proposed solutions to overcome these obstacles. Dr. Al-Shami emphasized the importance of collaboration among all committees, highlighting the need to work cohesively to ensure the success of this significant scientific event, thereby reflecting positively on the reputation of Yemeni universities and the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation.
Dr. Al-Shami instructed committee officials to intensify their efforts, resolve any pending issues, and complete the necessary tasks promptly to guarantee the conference’s readiness for the scheduled dates. The first scientific conference, titled “Al-Aqsa Flood,” is being organized by several universities, including Science and Technology, UAE, Azal, Tunc, Yemeni, and Al-Nasser. It is set to take place from 19-21 Sha’ban 1446 AH, corresponding to 18-20 February 2025 AD, at the University of Science and Technology.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Shami, along with the head of the preparatory committee and various committee members, assessed the progress of preparations and the venue arrangements for the conference.
