Sana'a: A broad preparatory meeting was held on Tuesday in Suwayr District of Amran Governorate to launch activities marking the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday anniversary for the year 1448 AH. The meeting, attended by Governorate Mobilization official Hussein Al-Gharib, Military Police Commander Col. Ammar Talie, Military Intelligence official Col. Nayef Al-Wari, and social figures, focused on the importance of joint official and community efforts to commemorate the occasion and highlight its significance.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants reviewed arrangements for field visits and community outreach to raise awareness of the religious importance of the occasion and mobilize wide participation in events across the district. Al-Gharib highlighted the significance of commemorating the Prophet's Birthday as an expression of Yemenis' love and loyalty to Prophet Muhammad and their adherence to his teachings. He stressed the need for broad engagement, proper preparation, and intensified activities in neighborhoods and communities to ensure the success of the celebrations.
Social figure Sheikh Jabran Murfaq called for strengthening the role of community figures, preachers, and guides in mobilization efforts and expanding field meetings and visits. Participants affirmed their readiness to actively take part in the celebrations and implement the activities plan across villages and areas of the district.
