President Al-Mashat Asserts Right to Counter Saudi Blockade on Yemen

Sanaa: President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, affirmed that the conduct of the Saudi regime in recent years and its insistence on maintaining the blockade on Yemen has proven that it has no genuine intention to achieve peace.

According to Yemen News Agency, President Al-Mashat stated that Yemen has the full right to take necessary measures to end the siege on its people after all peace efforts over the past years have been exhausted. He emphasized that no one has the authority to legitimize what he described as an unjust blockade imposed by the Saudi regime on the Yemeni populace.

Al-Mashat further criticized any statements justifying the blockade and condemning Yemen's stance, asserting that they are drafted uniformly and are financially motivated. He challenged those who issue such condemnations to urge the Saudi regime to apply the same measures on their own countries.
