President Al-Mashat Offers Condolences for the Passing of Scholar Ali Salem Baghaythan

Sanaa: President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, sent a cable of condolences over the death of scholar Ali Salem Bakir Baghaythan, a member of the Shura Council, who passed away at the age of 84 after a lifetime of service.

According to Yemen News Agency, in the cable addressed to the deceased's son Salem and his brothers, President Al-Mashat praised the late scholar's national stance, his contributions to social work, charitable activities, and efforts to promote reconciliation.

He noted that the deceased was a scholar of Islamic jurisprudence and Sharia sciences in Tarim, Hadramout Governorate, and played a role in teaching religious sciences. President Al-Mashat extended his condolences to the deceased's son Salem, his brothers, and the entire Baghaythan family in Tarim, praying for Allah's mercy, admission into Paradise for Ali Salem Baghaythan, and patience and solace for his family.
