Sanaa: Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy over the passing of Sheikh Hashim Ahmed Al-Saqqaf at the age of 75. In the message addressed to Shura Council member Hashim Mustafa Al-Saqqaf and to the late Sheikh's sons, Aidaroos and Mahdar, President Al-Mashat praised the deceased's virtues, his honorable patriotic positions, and his contributions to resolving disputes and promoting reconciliation.
According to Yemen News Agency, President Al-Mashat expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the Shura Council member and to the family of the deceased.
