President Al-Mashat Offers Condolences on President Ali Salem Al-Beidh Death

Sanaa: His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, sent a telegram of condolence and sympathy on the passing of President Ali Salem Al-Beidh, former Vice President of the Republic of Yemen, at the age of 90.

According to Yemen News Agency, in the condolence message addressed to the deceased's children and family members, President Al-Mashat praised Al-Beidh's virtues and his prominent national and political roles. He noted Al-Beidh's struggle against British occupation leading up to the achievement of national independence.

President Al-Mashat also commended the pivotal role President Ali Salem Al-Beidh played in the restoration of the Yemeni unity in 1990. He expressed his deepest condolences and sympathy to the deceased's children and family, praying to Almighty God to grant him mercy and forgiveness, and place him in His paradise. He wished for patience and solace for his family, relatives, and loved ones.

"Indeed, to God we belong and to Him we shall return," President Al-Mashat remarked in his message.
