Sana'a: His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, affirmed that the Republic of Yemen will remain representative of its people's aspirations, hopes, and steadfast faith-based positions, renewing the religious, principled, and moral commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and defending their holy sites, foremost among them the Noble Al-Aqsa Mosque.
According to Yemen News Agency, in his speech on the occasion of the advent of the blessed Eid al-Fitr, President Al-Mashat praised the convening of the Fourth International Conference (Palestine is the Central Cause of the Nation) in the capital, Sana'a, appreciating the official and academic efforts made to enhance the presence of the Palestinian cause as the nation's primary central cause.
He also affirmed Yemen's support for the Islamic Republic and its right to defend itself against American-Zionist aggression. President Al-Mashat called on Arab and Islamic countries to condemn this aggression and prevent their lands, waters, or airspace from being used by adversaries. He highlighted the threat posed by ambitions of regional domination under the terms "New Middle East" and "Greater Israel."
President Al-Mashat warned that the American-Zionist enemy seeks to impose a regional hierarchy that violates sovereignty, allowing attacks on any nation without justification. He emphasized that acceptance of such a stance represents a threat to human dignity and an existential danger to the region, amounting to an acceptance of injustice and aggression.
He stressed the collective responsibility of the peoples of the nation to confront this aggression, defending their dignity and sovereignty. President Al-Mashat urged for reconsideration among nations to counter the clear intentions of the enemy, which he stated are openly declared and pose a threat to the region's future.
