Sana'a: President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Saturday sent a cable of condolences on the death of Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Nasser Arij al-Faqih. Sheikh Arij passed away after a life dedicated to serving the nation.
According to Yemen News Agency, in his message to the deceased's family members, President al-Mashat lauded Sheikh Arij's virtues and contributions to his country and society. He also highlighted Sheikh Arij's firm stances in confronting the forces of aggression, tyranny, hegemony, and arrogance-America and Israel-and their proxies.
He expressed his deep sorrow to the deceased's sons, family, and the entire family in Sahar al-Talh district of Sa'ada governorate. He prayed for God's vast mercy upon him, a place in His spacious gardens, and patience and solace for his family and relatives.
