Sanaa: President of Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Friday extended his condolences to Dr. Taha al-Mutawakel on the passing of his father, the esteemed scholar Ahmed Mohammed al-Mutawakel, at the age of 83.
According to Yemen News Agency, in a cable sent to Dr. Taha and his brothers, Judge Abdulhafidh and Ismail, President al-Mashat praised the deceased's virtues and a life dedicated to serving the nation.
He expressed heartfelt sympathies to the al-Mutawakel family, praying for mercy and solace.
