Sanaa: President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Thursday expressed his condolences following the death of prominent educator Ahmed Ali Oshaish, who passed away at the age of 81.
According to Yemen News Agency, in a telegram sent to the Oshaish family, President al-Mashat praised the late educator’s six decades of service to the country’s educational sector. He also acknowledged Oshaish’s “honorable stances in anti-aggression” and recognized his sacrifice as the father of a martyr.
Al-Mashat extended his sincere condolences to the deceased’s children, family, and the wider Oshaish family in Amran province, praying for their solace and for divine mercy upon the departed.
