Sana’a: The President of the Supreme Political Council has enacted Decision No. (68) for the year 1446 AH, establishing a sanctions regulation targeting those responsible for acts of aggression against Yemen, as well as any other Arab or Islamic nations.
According to Yemen News Agency, the decision is comprised of fifty-eight articles organized into six distinct chapters. These chapters delineate the legal framework, including the title and definitions, classification of offenses, prohibited activities, sanctions, and consequences for violations. Additionally, the regulation outlines the process for obtaining licenses and exceptions, and concludes with general provisions.
The regulation’s final article, Article (58), mandates that the provisions shall be effective immediately upon issuance and requires publication in the Official Gazette in both Arabic and English.
