Hodeidah: A press conference was held today at Hodeidah Port to review the extent of the damage to the ports as a result of the Zionist American aggression targeting them over a period of ten months, and the efforts made to maintain maritime services.
According to Yemen News Agency, the conference was organized by the Red Sea Ports Corporation and attended by key officials including Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim, Hodeidah Governor Abdullah Otayfi, Undersecretary of the International Cooperation Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Mohammed Al Mutawakkil, and Deputy Governor Mohammed Halisi. A joint UN delegation was also present, led by Maria Rosaria Bruno, Director of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
The conference addressed both the direct and indirect losses incurred by the ports of Hodeidah, Salif, and Ras Issa due to the ongoing conflict. Efforts to maintain maritime services despite the challenges were also discussed by those in attendance.
