Progress of Work on Rahban Lake Project in Saada

Sana’a: The Executive Director of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development, Eng. Shihab Al-Shami, inspected the progress of work on the Rahban Lake project in Saada Directorate at a cost of 305 million riyals. During the visit, Al-Shami emphasized the importance of completing the project before the onset of the rainy season.

According to Yemen News Agency, the completion of the Rahban Lake project is pivotal as it aims to recharge groundwater in the region. This initiative is expected to significantly improve the situation for local farmers by increasing the productivity of wells. The project stands as a crucial development for the agricultural community in Saada, aligning with broader efforts to enhance water resources management.
