Project for Slaughterhouse Equipment at Central Slaughterhouse Handed Over at Cost of 83 Million Riyals

Sanaa: The Agricultural and Fisheries Projects Financing Unit handed over the project for supplying and installing slaughter hall equipment at the Central Slaughterhouse in the Dar Salam area of the Al-Sabeen District. The project was completed at a cost of 83 million riyals with local funding.



According to Yemen News Agency, the project was received by a technical committee from the Slaughterhouses Office of the Capital Secretariat. The ceremony was attended by the heads of the Social Affairs, Planning, and Services committees of the Secretariat’s Local Council. Officials stressed the significance of the project in improving the efficiency of slaughter services, aligning with health and environmental standards, and optimizing the economic use of animal waste and hides.



The Director of the Slaughterhouses Office stated that the project is expected to bring a qualitative shift in the performance of the slaughter services at the Central Slaughterhouse. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to rehabilitate and develop public slaughterhouses within the Secretariat.
