Prophet’s Birthday Celebrations Commence with Enthusiasm in Azal District

Sana'a: The government preparatory committee coordinating the Prophet's Birthday celebrations in Azal District, situated in the capital, convened a meeting on Sunday under the leadership of Deputy Speaker of Parliament Abdulrahman Al-Jama'i.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting saw attendance from prominent figures including Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qaheem, committee members Mohammed Al-Hashimi and Mohammed Al-Dhari, District Director Mohammed Al-Ghalisi, and the Director of the Center for Studies and Research at Ansar Allah Executive Office, Sheikh Sharaf Al-Wad'i. The session's agenda focused on the mobilization and outreach plans designed for the district-wide celebrations of the Prophet's Birthday.

All executive office directors in the district were present as the meeting delved into tasks and field plans aimed at boosting community engagement. The discussions revolved around implementing celebratory events, conducting cultural and awareness gatherings, and ensuring widespread participation to honor this significant occasion, thereby highlighting the reverence and respect associated with the Prophet.

Post-meeting, the government committee, along with Azal District leadership, visited Al-Thawra School Complex and participated in a cultural event at the Al-Tawheed Medical Center. These visits were marked by appreciation for the educators, school staff, students, and medical personnel, acknowledging their dedication in commemorating the Prophet's Birthday, which mirrored their admiration and emulation of the Prophet.

Moreover, additional events took place at Shajra School and Al-Thawra School Complex, with notable attendees such as Deputy Secretary of the Capital Secretariat for Neighborhood Affairs Dr. Qanaf Al-Marani, Head of the Center for Studies and Research Sheikh Sharaf Al-Wad'i, District Director Mohammed Al-Ghalisi, and Director of the District Education Office Abdulrahman Al-Faseeh.

Simultaneously, members of the 1st Support and Reinforcement Brigade, along with residents from Southern Al-Silm neighborhoods, Al-Buhuth in Naqem, and Ain Al-Faqih Al-Gharbiya in Al-Ramah neighborhood, organized cultural and oratory evenings to commemorate the occasion. These events, which included the presence of Deputy Secretary Dr. Qanaf Al-Marani and Commander of the 1st Brigade Brigadier General Hussein Al-Sheikh, featured cultural, poetic, and choral performances celebrating the Prophet's Birthday.

Speeches during these gatherings emphasized the importance of commemorating this religious occasion, underscoring the deep connection with the Prophet, reinforcing the faith-based identity, and encouraging the emulation of his luminous biography and righteous path.
