Prophet’s Birthday Celebrations Continue Unabated Across Dhamar Governorate

Sana'a: Celebrations, evenings, and festivals commemorating the Prophet's birthday continued in Dhamar Governorate. The General Authority for Agricultural Research and Extension organized a cultural seminar, while several local organizations and institutions hosted public speaking events to mark the occasion.

According to Yemen News Agency, in Dhamar city, various authorities including the Zakat Authority, the Endowments and Extension Authority, and the Health Authority, among others, held evening events. These were complemented by gatherings in specific neighborhoods and institutions like the Faculty of Medicine and Shawkan village, showcasing the community's dedication to honoring the Prophet.

Events were also organized in the Anis district by local authorities and executive offices in locations like the villages of Ni'an and Qubatil, and the al-Bard Mosque area. Furthermore, preparatory meetings for central events took place in al-Talbi and Jabal al-Mal in the Zubayd district, indicating a well-coordinated effort to celebrate the occasion.

In addition, branches of executive offices, the judiciary, and educational institutions like the Imam Ali bin Abi Talib College for Quranic Studies engaged in celebratory activities. These included a carnival festival and school broadcasts, emphasizing the educational sector's involvement in the festivities.

The Maghrib Ans Directorate witnessed a flurry of events, with activities spanning educational, cultural, and awareness programs in schools, while cultural events were organized in Bani Hayy district and the Wasab districts. These efforts were supported by authorities like the Zakat Authority and the Ministry of Economy and Industry, demonstrating widespread institutional engagement.

Moreover, the local authority and the General Mobilization Unit conducted events in various sub-districts, highlighting the role of speeches by officials who emphasized the importance of embodying the Prophet's virtues and strengthening community solidarity. The culmination of these events is expected to see broad participation in central celebrations in the provincial capital, underscoring the deep-rooted connection of Yemenis to the Prophet's legacy.
